2011 Archibald & Wynne Finalists

Congratualations are in order for our artists who have been selected for 2011 Archibald Prize and Wynne Prize.

Vincent Fantauzzo's shortlisted work featuring Matt Moran has taken out the Packing Room Prize. Our fingers are also crossed for Natasha Bieniek's exquisite miniature portrait, Giles Alexander's Space or Bust (Portrait of Sam Leach) and for Neil Haddon's Wynne Prize entry, Analgesic fields, N.W. Tasmania.

Keep an eye out for another of our artists, Roy Ananda who makes a special appearance in the Archibald as a subject !

Project artist Merrin Eirth has just completed a 4 month residency at Docklands New Quay. Her work can be seen at all hours in the window space of LPC Service, 104/7 Rakaia Way New Quay.

Reko Rennie has been busy installing for his show, Remember Me, as part of the Linden Innovators Program which opens tonight 6-8pm. The exhibition explores issues of identity and transformation and runs until May 8. If you are in Melbourne and looking for something to do tonight, head down for the launch and enjoy a drink with the first round of innovators!
