Petrina Hicks has been announced as a finalist in the Bowness Photography Prize 2018, selected by a judging panel of Dr Michael Brand, Director of AGNSW, artist Dr David Rosetzky and Anouska Phizacklea, Director of MGA.
Established in 2006 to promote excellence in photography, the annual William and Winifred Bowness Photography Prize is an initiative of the MGA Foundation. The Bowness Photography Prize has quickly become Australia’s most coveted photography prize. It is also one of the country’s most open prizes for photography. The exhibition of finalists work is on at Monash Gallery of Art from 29 September – 18 September 2018 and the winner will be announced on 11 October 2018.
