Kirsten Coelho wins 2015 City of Hobart Art Prize

Congratulations to Kirsten Coelho who has been named as Winner of the 2015 City of Hobart Art Prize for Ceramics. Her stunning work ´What We Thought We Needed´ was chosen for this annual acquisitive prize, which honours exceptional and innovative contemporary visual arts practices. Congratulations also to Cameron McRae who was awarded the prize for Drawing. Kirsten’s winning work as well as the works of all finalists can be seen at the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery from 18 September – 29 November 2015. The exhibition presents a broad survey contemporary art and the best in current practice from across Australia. City of Hobart Prize
