Art Gallery of Ballarat: Romancing the Skull

Petrina Hicks,and Juan Ford are exhibiting works in Romancing the Skull, on at the Art Gallery of Ballarat from 14 October 2017 to 28 January 2018. The show reflects on this iconic symbol which has entranced and fascinated generations of artists. It looks at the depiction of the skull in art and examines why we continue to be so enamoured with this symbol.
