On now in Washington: Michael Cook

Michael Cook is currently showing work in Washington DC as a part of Saltwater Country, a travelling exhibition developed in partnership with Museum & Gallery Services Australia and the Gold Coast City Gallery.  Curated by Michael Aird and Virginia Rigney the exhibition brings together 16 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists including Fiona Foley, Judy Watson, Daniel Boyd and Vernon Ah Kee.

Saltwater Country continues at the Embassy of Australia, Washington DC until January 2015 before travelling to the Museum of Contemporary Aboriginal Art in The Netherlands. Read the Sydney Morning Herald's feature on the exhibition here.
