The Gold Award 2014: Finalist

Abbey McCulloch is one of eight invited finalists in The Gold Award 2014. This $50,000 invitation only painting prize is one of Australia’s richest and most significant contemporary painting prizes, celebrating the best in contemporary painting practice in Australia. The inaugural 2012 award was won by Sally Gabori.

Abbey is among impressive company – the 2014 finalists include Imants Tillers, Sam Leach and Del Kathryn Barton. The winner will be announced at Rockhampton Art Gallery in July and the works of all finalists will be on show from 4 July – 31 August.
