Performance artist, Jill Orr creates site-specific works that grapple with the balance and discord that exist at the heart of relations between the human spirit, art and nature. The performance, Dark Night, presented for the opening weekend of the Lorne Sculpture Biennale, 2018, is evocative, poetic and pretty crazy, but at its core, the earthy underpinnings ground it as a serious environmental reflection of hope and possibility.
