Juan Ford Finalist Archibald Prize 2015

Juan Ford has been announced as a 2015 Archibald Prize finalist, first awarded in 1921, is Australia’s favourite art award, and one of its most prestigious. Awarded to the best portrait painting, it’s a who’s who of Australian culture – from politicians to celebrities, sporting heroes to artists. Juan's work is the wonderfully titled 'A bungled clairvoyance of William Buckley or Ludwig Leichhardt’s most intense moments I can’t decide which you choose. Attempted while atop a mountain.' The winner is announced on July 17th.
