Archibald, Wynne and Sulman Prize Finalists Announced



 

The Art Gallery of New South Wales has announced the 2015 finalists in its Archibald, Whynne and Sulman Prizes.

Juan Ford has been selected as a finalist is the Archibald Prize, Australia’s most popular portrait prize for a person distinguished in arts, letters, science or politics.

Marcel Cousins has been selected as a finalist in the Sulman Prize for the best subject or genre painting or mural project by an Australian artist.

Natasha Bieniek, Abdul Rahman Abdullah and Neil Haddon have been selected as finalists in the Wynne Prize for landscape painting or figure sculpture.

An exhibition of the work of the finalists in the Archibald, Wynne and Sulman Prizes will be held at the Art Gallery of NSW from 18 July until 27 September 2015.
