The fair is hosted at Hong Kong’s Exhibition & Convention Centre from 22 – 26 March. Art Basel offers a central Asian platform for cutting edge contemporary art from around the globe.
We are excited to announce a new body of work by Brisbane based photographer Michael Cook for 2016. Cook’s emotionally engaging new series ‘Mother’ explores a universal theme that is crucial to the wellbeing of all. The love or absence of a mother is paramount to the development and future of each child the world over.
Spare and minimal in their execution, Cook’s works are loaded with quiet sorrow, beautiful yet hinting at a darker undercurrent.
