Marian Drew has held exhibitions in Australia, the United States, France, Hong Kong, Peru, Singapore and Germany. She represented Australia in the First Asia Pacific Triennial at the Queensland Art Gallery. Drew’s work is a part of major collections such as the Getty Museum Los Angeles, National Gallery of Australia, Queensland Art Gallery, Fonds National D’Art Contemporain Paris, Museum for Contemporary Art Brisbane and numerous other photographic collections world-wide.
Her first monograph entitled Marian Drew Photographs and Video Works was published by the Queensland Centre for Photography in 2006.
As well as completing several important public art commissions in Australia, Drew was named as one of Australia’s most collectable artists in Australian Art Collector magazine, 2006. Recently, Marian Drew was awarded an Australia Council Grant and subsequently held a residency at PS1 New York.
