Alice Art Prize 2018: Finalist

Vincent Namatjira is a finalist in the $40,000 acquisitive Alice Art Prize 2018 for his painting of the two watercolour painters – his great grandfather Albert Namatjira and Rex Battarbee, whose relationship was to have a major impact on Australian art. Judge Brian Ritchie, MONA FOMA curator, will announce the winner on 27 April and the exhibition will run until 17 June 2018 at Araluen Arts Centre, Alice Springs.
