Chris Bond, Juan Ford, and Natasha Bieniek have been selected as finalists in the Archibald Prize 2016. The $100,000 portrait prize for a portrait of is one of Australia’s most celebrated awards.
Neil Haddon has been selected as a finalist in the $50,000 Wynne Prize, awarded for the best landscape painting of Australian scenery or figure sculpture.
The winners will be announced on 15 July and the works of all finalists in both the Archibald and the Wynne Prizes will be on show at the Art Gallery of New South Wales from 16 July – 9 October 2016.
