In association with Tate Britain, Artist and Empire: (En)countering Colonial Legacy is opening at National Gallery of Singapore and features selected works from Michael Cook’s ‘Undiscovered’ series.
The exhibition takes a close look at the colonial experience from a variety of viewpoints. Ranging from the 16th century to the present day, Artist and Empire draws upon close to 200 works from international and regional collections as well as Singapore institutions. Opening 6 October.
