THIS IS NO FANTASY is pleased to present In Between Forms, a new exhibition by interdisciplinary artist Ara Dolatian, marking his first solo exhibition with the gallery.

Bringing together a body of sculptural and wall-based works, In Between Forms explores unstable states between human, animal, and the monstrous.

Drawing on Mesopotamian mythology and the poetic voice of Enheduanna (widely recognised as the world’s earliest known author), Dolatian reimagines ancient narratives through a contemporary lens of transformation, hybridity, and resistance.
