Michael Cook´s series Majority Rule is featured in the 19th Biennale of Sydney: You Imagine What You Desire, at the The Art Gallery of New South Wales, under the artistic direction of Juliana Engberg.

Currently, Indigenous Australians are a small minority, comprising only three to four percent of the total Australian population. Michael´s work challenges thinking about Indigenous Australians by promoting Aboriginal people in carefully staged compositions that depict role-reversal. What if Indigenous Australians were 96 per cent of the Australian population and white people were the minority?
