Cyanotypes art workshop with Olivia Chin: Incinerator Gallery

Incinerator Gallery invites people aged 16+ to join a free art workshop series led by Olivia Chin. Participants will collaboratively create a large-scale artwork to be permanently displayed in the Quiet Study Space at Ascot Vale Library, drawing inspiration from the local environment of Queens Park. Through hands-on making, individual responses—small gestures, shapes, fragments, and images—gradually come together to form a unified collective artwork.

Day 1 – Cyanotype Workshop held at Queens Park, Moonee Ponds (2hrs), participants will make cyanotypes outdoors for the collaborative work. Light refreshments and all materials provided – just wear clothes you don’t mind getting a little marked. Detailed information will be provided a week prior via email.
Day 2 (optional) – Meet at the Ascot Vale Library and decide the layout for Cyanotypes in the Quiet Study Space, participants will hand sew sections of the work together and enjoy a morning tea.
