Vincent Namatjira has been announced as a finalist in the 2017 National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Art Awards.

This prestigious award recognises the important contribution made by Indigenous artists from regional and urban areas throughout Australia, working in both traditional and contemporary media.

The winner will be announced Friday 11 August by judges Emily McDaniel, Chris Saines and Regina Wilson.
