Petrina Hicks’ work has been curated into Wild: Flora and Fauna in Australian Art, at Hawkesbury Gallery. Curated by Diana Robson, Wild explores the depiction of flora and fauna in Australian art, investigating a number of curatorial themes including the historical and contemporary, Indigenous and non Indigenous, and the symbolism embedded in the imagery. Artists in the exhibition include Kate Rhode, Noel McKenna, Louise Weaver and Hayden Fowler.
