Juan Ford – Lord of the Canopy

Juan Ford's solo installation Lord of the Canopy officially opens this week at Mildura Arts Centre (MAC) Gallery.

Incorporating an anamorphic possum ring and a large wall painting, visitors to the MAC Gallery can look to see what the ring reflects, and ponder Ford’s amalgam of rational and irrational references to ecology, subjugation of nature, absurdist metaphysics, and art history.
