Kevin Chin: Finalist – St Columba’s Art Prize

Congratulations to Kevin Chin, whose 'Gateway' 2024 was selected as a finalist in the 2025 St Columba's Art Prize!

‘Gateway’ derives from a recent pilgrimage to the Hermitage of Saint Francis of Assisi, the Catholic mystic poet. Just as Francis espoused the channelling of the divine through nature, this painting explores that feeling of a whole other world hiding between the crevices. Passing between twin trees becomes a gateway to somewhere ethereal.
